It's the little things that let you know you're back in Virginia. The ladybugs hiding inside for the winter. The "threat" of snow that seems laughable by northeastern accounts. The smile breaking the corners of your mouth when the sun shines and warms up the air on a sixty-degree December day. Back at CK's home for the holidaze... nearly two months spent whoopin' it up in the mid-Atlantic sun. Ian got a job slingin' trees (of the holiday variety) and CK got some family dog-time in. There was Catan and wine and gluttonous holiday fun. Thanksgivin', the end of Mayan Calendar, Christmas, New Years - they all came and went. Where did they go? Sometimes living on the road feels like a million years can happen in a flash. And sometimes it feels like only a matter of seconds. However the time seemed to pass, it certainly passed. And near the tail end of our Virginia time we were reunited with our travel sis, Janane Tripp, who dug her way out of snow and ice to get to us. It's funny to think of all that did and did not happen during this restful time now that we're truckin' again. As always, it's the good times that will stick around in our memories...
Here's a taste of time spent:

COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG HANGTOWN USA
And once again we find ourselves a bit more rested, waaay more fed, and with just enough money in our pocket to trick our brains into packing up the van and doing this all over again... this time with caravan in tow!
