A lot of great places have come and gone over the years and we're stoked to see that this one keeps shining radiantly. To kick off the night, thee mighty Samuel James played a short but magical set, ending in a cover of Folsom Prison Blues. Coming equipped with a military kitty t-shirt and a bag of jokes in toe, it was a true pleasure to have him start the evening. Sam James is the real deal and someone who we'll miss greatly. BRAINSHADOWS
Intermittently through out the night, our dear friends Brainshadows (M. Lajoie and Dawn Aquarius of Herbcraft // Oracle Offering // Cursillistas) were spinning a far-out range of jams. For two months we had the pleasure of living with slayer of sound, Sterling Black. His solo project (NASTY NEGLIGEE) tape 666999 // Shitty City is one we've kept front seat for the past year of travel, so it was extra real for us to finally catch a live session.

B.R. GARM always brings the heat. Coming back to Portland, Maine for the past five months we saw how different the city has become. With so many lost treasures (such as the dearly departed Visitations) we've been psyched to feel at home again with new projects of B.R. GARM and VIDEO NASTIES. For our last show in Maine our deal pal B.R. GARM gave us a true gift in the form of a Visitations reunion of sorts, with C. Livengood, our sis Janane Tripp, and id M Theft able backing B.R. GARM up. Improvised, raw, and satanic, this shit was real. "Are you going to play a folk song?" "No.""NOW IT'S OUR TURN!! !!"
